Here we see babyphotos of Eleye crying. These images come from her family archive. The alarming effect of the crying baby is increased because of the rotation and enlarging of the original picture. The helpnessness of the crying baby is transformed and suggests the baby is possibly having strenght or agency, enabeling it to stand upright instead of lying down and this larger then life baby might even be able to walk like a Hulk.
Eleye gebruikte hier foto’s van zichzelf als huilende baby die ze vond in haar familie archief. Door een simpele uitvergroting en omkanteling van de oorspronkelijke foto’s, neemt het alarmerende signaal van de huilende baby toe. De hulpeloze staat waarop de baby in het oorspronkelijke moment is vastgelegd, liggend op de rug, wordt hier letterlijk omgedraaid. Het werk wekt namelijk de suggestie dat de meer dan levensgrote huilende baby als een soort Hulk rechtop staat en misschien zelfs kan lopen en iemand verpletteren.
