In a series of diptychs, images are placed side by side. Rather than explaining, the pairing holds a tension between them.
In Photo of Paul sleeping / Photo of victim 32, Pompeï, a photograph of a former partner is paired with the plaster cast of a body found in Pompeii. The similarity in posture creates a precise but coincidental alignment, while the distance between the two remains intact, quietly pointing to the transience of the body and of life itself.
